Refresh work continues at McKinney ISD campuses to open new McKinney location

As reported, McKinney ISD is continuing work on two of its campuses, Evans Middle School and McKinney Boyd High School, as part of the district’s 2021 bond program. Apart from that, the district's board of trustees approved the two refresh phases February 24, 2025. It was also mentioned in the news that in the past, the district's 2021 bond program included $31 million in funds for the refresh of McKinney Boyd, which was built in 2006. The bond program also set aside $21 million to refresh Evans Middle, which opened in 2004.
